She attended Bowling Green State University where she received Bachelor and Masters degrees with a major in English and minors in history and political science. For thirty years she taught Writer's Workshop and other English classes. This author has been English Department Chairperson, Technology Coordinator, Jennings Scholar and Teacher of the Year.
